Our three systems specially developed to be mounted on windows can be equipped with different roller shutter profiles.

The PVC frame-mounted AK-MIRO PLUS shutter is specially designed for new builds, but can also be used for modernisation in conjunction with new windows. Inspection is possible from the outside and all this with the simplest installation.
The foam-filled frame-mounted AK-FLEX shutters provide excellent heat and sound insulation qualities and are designed for all wall thicknesses.
On request, all boxes can also be equipped with integrated insect protection.

FOAMED TOP-MOUNTED BOX FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATION
AK-FLEX WITH ROLLER SHUTTERS
The foamed top-mounted box AK-FLEX is specially designed for new buildings or renovations together with the entire window and meets the current requirements for both thermal and sound insulation.
You can use the AK-FLEX for all wall structures and installation situations. Regardless of whether thermal insulation composite system, exterior plaster, clinker or slate facade, the AK-FLEX universal box can always be used. Its flexibility and the possibility to adapt its external dimensions to the building situation makes it particularly suitable for prefabricated houses or requirements for fixed wall thicknesses.
ALUKON roller blinds are available in aluminium and PVC profiles, in different cover widths and in a range of colours.
Roller panels can optionally be equipped with an integrated insect protection screen.

COMBINED WITH THE WINDOW
The PVC frame-mounted shutter box for renovation and new construction fits together by snapping directly onto the window for easy installation.

The AK-MIRO PLUS stands out for the flexibility it offers in revision options. They can be done from the inside, bottom and also from the outside. Venetian blinds can also be integrated.
​
Thanks to different adapter profiles, which are adapted to the window system, AK-MIRO PLUS is compatible with all common window types. The adapter profiles ensure a form-fit connection with the window even with larger widths.

It meets heat insulation requirements according to the EnEV (Energy Saving Regulations) as well as requirements for soundproofing. The box can be easily plastered over and thus integrated into the façade without being visible.
